How our Free NSF Check Recovery Process Works
- A letter of authorization is sent to your bank,
requesting them to forward any returned checks
directly to Last Echo, LLC for processing.
- A sign is posted at the point of sale to notify
customers that NSF checks will be electronically
debited for the amount of the check, as well as for
the State authorized processing fee. Click
to view a
sample label.
- When Last Echo, LLC receives an
NSF item, it is entered into our database and
re-submitted electronically through the ACH
(Automated Clearing House) network
for next day debiting of the check writer's bank
account.
- Within 7 business days following recovery of
funds, 100% of the face value of the check is
credited directly into your account via electronic
deposit. We keep you informed of the process
through timely reports that are emailed to you or
can be delivered by FAX/mail.
- The few checks that are not
recovered electronically, such as closed account,
etc., can be forwarded on to our full service
collection associates where traditional check
collection methods are applied. Unlike other
companies who will charge you 15% to 35% for 3rd
party collections, with Last Echo, LLC,
you will still receive 100% of the face value of
your recovered checks.
